Day's end dawning

What surprised me here, is the sharp horizontal line running across the photo ... and this line shows up in every photo taken that afternoon/evening.
Then the duck going slow enough to the left so I could still include it sensibly in the shot. What a gift, this guy.
Also, the square shape where the sun hits the water, as if done by a paint brush. Another gift ... surprise!
Yep, "surprise" is part of the DNA of photography!
